Marand Hits the Target

Two weeks ago, Marand took a major step in giving back to the community. The past several years, Marand as a company has partnered with LAWA and CYC to provide scholarships for Latin American, Black and African American youth to help advance them in their education. This year we chose to take it a step further by raising the bar for our fundraising goal while also enjoying a Clay shoot outing with our sponsors. Met with beautiful weather and positive attitudes, sponsors enjoyed showing off their aim and shooting skills in our first annual shoot at Meadow Wood Farm. With it being the very first annual shoot, Marand set a goal to try and raise around $50,000 for our scholarships. To our surprise, we were able to raise up to $150,000! The amount raised exceeded our expectations and will make a huge positive impact on future students in need. Marand is grateful for our sponsors who donated and participated in our very first Clay shoot and made history with us as a company. We look forward to continuing to raise the bar next year and bringing on more scholarship recipients!
